Structure of the day –

Introduce simple steps to formulate effective treatment strategy on pain. These simples steps are immediately applicable in your clinical practice. This will involve principles of how to use local Ashi points, distal points, and combined to formulate effective treatment strategy/protocol.

A quick review on acupuncture meridians and explain how to use this knowledge in situations when Ashi points are not enough.

Acupuncture for pain relief from head to toe: In each part of the body we will review and practice local Ashi points. We will also go through the simple steps with you to broaden your treatment strategy.

For every acupuncture point we go through, we will look at the angle, depth, technique of insertion and manipulation.  We will also practice moxa and electro on the points where applicable.

Learning outcome:

At the end of the day, you will be very confident and certain in choosing acupuncture points and formula to treat pain. You will be confident knowing you are using the right techniques to achieve maximum benefit for your patients.
