Emily Fullarton joins The Tower Clinic

About my approach to counselling

I am a qualified integrative counsellor with experience of working within trauma and talking therapy services with adults. My approach is relational, which allows me to use a variety of different theoretical models and approaches, depending on your needs and personality. Theoretical models I am influenced by include: humanistic, existential, behavioural, psychodynamic, transactional analysis and creative therapies.

I have experience of working in a number of different third sector organisations as a counsellor as well as through private practice. Prior to being a counsellor I worked in refugee and asylum seeker support services. As a practising Christian I am aware of the impact faith and spirituality can have on individuals and am able to incorporate this into my counselling, only if it is appropriate or relevant to you.

I am able to offer short-term or open-ended therapy, depending on your needs, and regular reviews will be incorporated.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy working towards accreditation (Registration number:757179). I am committed to the ‘Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions’ which governs safe and professional practice.
