Jane Welborn joins the Tower Clinic

My name is Jane and I believe passionately that good diet and lifestyle choices are incredibly powerful tools in enabling people to live longer, healthier and happier lives.
Our bodies are resilient and put up with the stresses and strains modern living demands of them, yet gradually, the cracks begin to appear… niggling symptoms that we tend to ignore begin to surface; we may begin to gain a little weight, have the odd headache or just begin to feel tired a lot of the time. If these symptoms are left untreated a state of ill-health begins to develop.

The body has an amazing way to heal itself with nutrition. I believe that by adding the correct nourishment along with a healthy lifestyle, your body will thank you for it.The world of nutritional advice can seem so overwhelming, confusing and contradictory. Often when we try to make positive changes, we can find that we have folIowed the wrong advice and far from seeing improvements we can even make our problems worse! I want to help people to navigate this confusing world and believe that sharing what I have learnt through both my own personal experience and years of training, I can help others to discover what good nutrition and lifestyle choices can do for them too!

Here are a few of the problems that I, as a Nutritional Therapist can help you with:

  • IBS symptoms
  • Digestive imbalances
  • Weight problems
  • Skin conditions
  • Lack of energy
  • Headaches
  • Migraines

  • Sugar cravings
  • Hormone imbalances

  • Cardiovascular health

  • Preparing for pregnancy/ fertility problems, and many more!

A little about me;

Like most of us I have been on my own journey with my health and diet over the years. As a teenager I suffered from weight gain, anxiety issues, a mild eating disorder and IBS. Like many teenagers I loved junk food and this contributed to my health problems. When at the age of 18, I became vegetarian and took up exercise I found that my IBS gradually improved! (although I still had much to learn!) Many years later, when working as an advocate for adults with mental health problems, I saw many instances where I thought that improved nutrition could have a positive impact on the mental health of individuals and became interested in exploring the subject of nutrition. Being ready for a change of career, I decided to study nutrition at the University of West London where I gained a BSc in Nutritional Therapy.

I now run my own business, Jane Welborn Nutrition, which aims to empower my clients with the support and knowledge they need to make the healthiest food choices for them, for life. I am passionate about what I do and I hope this is evident in my work.
