At The Tower Clinic, we offer a wide range of massage therapy treatments, suitable for a wide range of conditions.
What is Holistic Massage Therapy?
With a ‘holistic’ therapeutic massage treatment, you are seen as an individual, taking account of your emotional and mental aspects and lifestyle as much as your physical needs. The emphasis is on using a range of appropriate massage techniques to help to stimulate the self-healing abilities of the body and to restore the body, mind and spirit to a state of ‘homeostasis’ or balance. The treatment is performed intuitively, working with what you are bringing into the session on the day and using the appropriate techniques and depth of strokes, rather than performing a given sequence of strokes.
As a remedial treatment, the massage treatment will initially include a 15 minute consultation and assessment to determine the specific issues being presented and to agree an appropriate treatment plan with you. Treatment involves a wide range of techniques to manipulate and mobilise muscles and other soft tissues. Passive joint mobilisation, stretches and body movement, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and subtle energy work are all incorporated in treatments that are tailored to your individual needs.

Relaxing massages have both physical and mental effects, helping to reduce stress & tension. It helps to relax the mind, and release tension from tight muscles, promoting better flexibility and movement in the muscles and joints, flushing out the toxins that can build up.
Sports Maintenance Massage:
This type of massage helps to relieve aches, pains and muscle fatigue, breaking down scar tissue and relieving areas of chronic pain and dysfunction. It can help with recovery from training, and also prevent or treat sports related injuries. Sports massage improves circulation, lymphatic drainage, performance and flexibility.
Pre & Post Event Massage:
Pre-event massages help to physically and mentally prepare the client just before an event, warming up the body and getting the blood pumping around, feeding the muscles. Post-event massages help the body to recover from the event, aiding faster muscle recovery and reducing any potential risk of injury.

I am an experienced massage therapist with 5+ years working within the spa and massage industry.
I am trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, no-hands massage (a massage technique favouring movements with the forearms and elbows) and Hawaiian sweeping lomi-lomi massage.
I studied Spa Management (BSc at the University of Derby, Buxton) and focused my study towards eastern holistic wellbeing philosophies such as Ayurveda, green eco spas, yoga, herbal medicines and a focus on organic products.
I moved to Cornwall after studying my degree to work at a luxury eco hotel on the north coast offering treatments intertwining holistic and bespoke massage therapies, breathwork, meditation, movement practises, connecting to nature and provided herbal/supplemental advice alongside delivering Ayurvedic consultations.
I have relocated back home & closer to busy cities to help spread a little Cornish wisdom; the art of slowing down.
I separate my treatments into timings rather than individual massage styles, allowing me to intertwine massage movements and bring all of my knowledge together to create a bespoke treatment individually for you.
