“Good relationships are the foundation on which we build our mental and emotional wellbeing and when they become problematical it can cause us intense stress and unhappiness. These difficulties can have their roots in our past, in the way we related to our family of origin or we may be struggling to remain attached to others because of external stresses in the present. If we wish to strengthen our relationships, understand why they persistently fail, or prepare ourselves for a new, more positive, way of being with others then counselling can help us to become more insightful about our needs and desires and explore all the elements that influence our interactions with others.”
