Charlie J Counselling – Bereavement – Anxiety -Depression and Trauma support. No-obligation 30-minute free consultation.
Hi, I’m Julia of Charlie J Counselling. Being here for you is important, whether you’re wanting help for a specific issue or just need a listening ear.
Charlie J Counselling was founded in memory of my late father, and I am proud to be a small personal practice, providing you a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to explore what you need.
I can support you with personal difficulties around mental health and well-being, including depression, anxiety, and trauma.
My specialist skills are in supporting people through bereavement and loss, people who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual abuse and work-related trauma.
All the services I offer you come from my own lived, personal, and professional experience, helping me have an empathic understanding of your situation.
Having a non-directive style allows you to keep control, there is no worry about being assessed or evaluated.
The right support is important and that is why I offer a free no obligation 30-minute telephone or online consultation to see if you feel comfortable with me and what I offer is right for you. I will listen to you with respect and without judgement.
Offering you over 20 years’ experience from my personal and professional life, I have first-hand experience of how trauma and loss can affect our lives and our own self-worth, resulting in anxiety and low confidence. I turned to counselling for help. I experienced how supportive counselling can be, how it can assist people to turn their lives around. This was my inspiration to become a counsellor.
Providing Face-face counselling support at the Tower clinic, Cookridge, I am also close to and provide counselling services and outdoor therapy in and around, Leeds, Otley, Skipton, Bradford, Ilkley, Harrogate, the Craven District and rural surrounding areas.
